The only problem with living in New York is that it is that is full of loud mouth bullshitters like this one.

No arguing with this.

This was known in the 17th century as the 'divine right of kings'. The king is anointed by god therefore cannot be gainsaid. Hence England had a civil war in the 1640s, executed the king, and had its 'Glorious Revolution' in 1688 to depose another absolutist, James II. Do 'Republicans' get it?

Conventional thinking would say no but there is a place for this in the artillery of attack ads. 'Make your vote mean this' is the thought I think. Gives fed up voters a reason to mail their ballot or go down to vote in person.

Dems need to make more of the issue of corporate welfare. It's a bridge to the sort of working class voters who have stoped supporting the party over the past thirty years. If , as a results, other bridges to corporate donors are burnt , so be it. Votes are more important than cash.

This is really good. A great line. A simple story well told. It's very convincing. Needs a call to action though. If the AFL-CIO wants to boost union membership they should put money behind this sort fo thing and more.

One of the things I keep going on about is that campaigns need to hire different types of creatives to produce content. One of the types is satirists who know how to craft a great headline. Bury your cliches and talking points. Any candidate would make a greater impact if he used talent like this.

Change will come from the edge not from the center. Don't expect the DNC to make any difference to anything. Save your donations for candidates and organizations that seek to lead opinion not follow it.
