It has to do with your federal taxes, nothing to do with your insurance (two separate concepts). You either elect to have an estimate of your taxes taken out monthly and get a refund of the overage OR you elect to wait to pay your federal taxes once a year.

It's a good question and you would essentially be changing your filling status (for most it would be through their employer). Instead of getting a tax return, you would owe every year.

Deleted the FB, Messenger, and IG apps from my phone over a week ago; highly recommend getting off those platforms. This goes especially if you're looking to take action but lack the funds or the energy to do so. Changing your tax status is another low energy action that's gaining traction.

We're so understaffed in the US in radiology, this will sincerely help close the gap and make providers lives easier and patients on therapy faster.
