Today would be a great day for Democrats to do something...ANYTHING... to fight against the onslaught of fascism and destruction of government programs designed to help the masses. just a thought.

I have no idea who to trust or what information to believe. Calling reps & politicians won't do sh*t because my vote is already locked in and they gerrymandered into safely elected seats. Help me fight this helpless feeling

I'm feeling very uncertain about where to put my efforts and/or support. Democrats don't have any leaders stepping up nationally. In a corrupt blue city in deep red state. There are so many needs and local opportunities to help. Any suggestions about who to help and why?

Strengthen your nucleus and don't feel the pressure to face gigantic, existential problems on your own. If authentic community is restored, the power of social media & corporate media loses its power to divide, misinform, and distract from fulfilling relationships.

Invest efforts in smaller, local, community building. Prioritize the personal relationship building with those who you love & support and reciprocate.

Know that there is always hope. Find ways to take care of you and try to check in on others struggling too. Dark times are when heroes shine.
We are given challenges to show us our true character. Who will you choose to be?

Hi Blusky peps...first post. No idea who will see these posts but I'm taking this to be more of a place to share thoughts and see if they relate to anyone else.

Today is a really sad day to be a progressive Christian American. It's a sad day to be a lot of things but I can't speak for everyone.
