Disabled lives matter! I work. I applied for PiP disability payments (not means tested) to top up my lost earnings and to help pay for all the extra costs (travel costs to all my appointments, prescriptions & over the counter medications etc) but Labour seem to think I don’t matter!

On a high pain / low energy day (Fibromyalgia & brain surgery recovery) my cat Evie’s doing a great job of supplying comfort after Labour announced cuts to PiP disability payments!

I am a chronically ill artist recovering from brain surgery. I have a bed in my studio: I work in small bursts and then rest. I had to start claiming pip since the removal of my brain tumour due to feeling dizzy & fatigued every single day.I’m dismayed that Labour want to cut disability benefits!

I’ve been staring at this mixed media piece from my bed a lot this week. I’ve had weird symptoms again: nausea, extra dizziness, left sided weakness/heaviness, and muscle twitching. I think the brain surgery 14 months ago has either made my FM & migraine more complex or I have a ‘new thing’. 🫠
