Its raining in michigan today.

This is so needed with the drought we've had, temperatures went from 90 deg F to 60 deg F.

But its the kind of fall rain that soothes your soul like the first sip of tea in the morning. It feels like I can relax again.

Palette cleanser audiobook (as contemporary romance is normally not my first choice)...

And im extremely amused the big love confession didn't come thru until 69% of the audiobook. Probably a coincidence but its still fun.

Also, if I ever had stupid money, like very large amounts, I'd buy the dragon age IP and get a studio together to remaster the original trilogy and expand on veilguard.

I've had a lot of thoughts on that.

I have feelings about EA being sold.

Mainly it because I just got into the Dragon age fandom in January of this year with Veilguard.

So at least its a game full of hope and redemption, found family, and an MC that takes no shit from the villians.

Yup its easiest in any of the large town square areas where people walk by in bauldurs gate itself. I usually do closer to the fancy clothes shops near the gate to the upper city. Fancier district so more people have money. Idk if that makes a difference tho.

I got the 100 gold by playing in the middle of the city. And you have to succeed at the performance check in think. There's a whole guide on it online. I got the achievement back in early January just doing it with a hireling.

Im far too obsessed with this fictional man

Today is feeling like a reading day.

I have errands to do later and my adhd is doing the thing where it's like you can't do things today because we have a thing to do later.

But reading fills in gaps of time nicely.
And it feels like a soft rain today weather wise.

Eh I try not to engage in the more...extreme sides of the fandom. Life's less enjoyable that way.

I headcannon that he defaults back to it in times of stress and anxiety like an emotional mask. But he's really a sweet and quiet, gentle person.

I can see him making a cabin as a home base and relaxing a month or two because the fight against the gods was ALOT. But then using the cabin as a place to come home to between adventures and monster hunting etc. But not as a settling down kinda way.

Finally got around the updating my ravlery email...

Less than 5 minutes updating basics (since I hated logged in since the pandemic era user interface change up fiasco) and I already had a mild headache forming.

Just leaving my like 4 patterns up. It occasionally drops $ in my paypal. *shrugs*

Got to meet one of my favorite authors @rebeccathorne.bsky.social today at a book signing and give her a quilted throw pillow case of Visk and Ponder (the griffons from the books) that I spent the last week working on.
(Yes im a giant dork but this was my very first book signing!)
