Me after waking up several times from trauma nightmares: I will work on my WIP a tiny bit to calm me and fall back asleep.

My calming WIP:

Love and Hate by Oliver__Niko for SunSalute, Fire Emblem Three Houses. No archive warnings. Sylvain/Felix. That’s exactly where Sylvain has to step next; he watches Felix’s face closely as he does so, the slight pursing of Felix’s lips. “You’re fucked up,” Felix says. “If I am, so are you. At least I’m not the one who egged my enemy on to kidnap me.” It would almost be laughable, if it didn’t turn Sylvain on so much in return. The attraction he felt all those years ago hasn’t dwindled in the slightest, festering instead into whatever he can call this now: a mixture of desires stemming from old love and new hate. He crouches once more, stroking his fingers over the curve of Felix’s backside. A shiver is felt beneath his fingertips. “I wonder how much of you you’d let me touch.”

One of my biggest struggles being chronically ill is trying to handle that feeling of rushing through time, because I have so little of it to do the things I want. My daily hours are a fraction of an abled person’s, so it’s always a game of prioritizing essentials, then trying to squeeze in fun.

Ughh this. I think so much about what I could be doing with the hours I need everyday laid in the dark, ear plugs in and eyes closed. 😭

I'm in for a day. Really could have done with better sleep after yesterday 😅 But nice to have this coming along, very fun, and painting in monochrome is like painting on easy mode so it's quick to make some nice progress even when I can only work on it a bit.
