Our township Dem orgs recruited great candidates and knocked on doors; we organized volunteers to send 80,000 handwritten postcards and we sent more than 900,000 text messages, including those from DWDC and DPI.
Together we showed that the Democratic Party knows how to fight back and how to win!

Prior to 2017, there was only one Democrat in Township government in DuPage County. Before the elections two weeks ago, we’d grown that number to 12. On April 1, we ran 49 Democrats and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them won.
This unprecedented election sweep was decades in the making.

Every township holds an annual meeting open to all residents of the township. This is the only meeting at which members of the public make the decisions. Especially because our newly elected officials won't be sworn in yet, it's important that Democrats show up to vote in these meetings!
