Absolutely - it's like a handful of the characteristics of the style were picked and exaggerated to the point of absurdity. That can work if you do it with intention, but it takes an artist.

It just takes seeing one weird part of a pic, and it all falls apart quickly lol! 😬😂

Here's a quick before and after - not sure if I even underlined all of the AI sites in the before

My recommendation would be to start adding "before: YYYY-MM-DD" to your searches, if you use Google!

If I go to look for reference photos for, say, Cyberpunk art, I'll generally put: "Cyberpunk Art before:2021-01-01" and it filters out a big chunk of those AI sites. 😄
