Exactly! Sometimes it’s the only way to stay sane in an insane time. It’s not denying reality, it’s allowing us to refocus and center ourselves and take a moment to be at peace before the coming storm.

I feel the same way in general. I do think this looks more in line with what I like in terms of aesthetics, so I’m willing to try it.

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new update after developers previously stated it no longer would, bringing the possibility of more still to come.

The PlayStation Project Defiant fight stick, which looks amazing!

Another two faves from the Xbox showcase: Ninja Gaiden 4, which is a must play for me, for sure. And Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which takes the franchise back to the Black Ops 2 and 3 futuristic storyline. I know a lot of people probably won’t like that, but I’m on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Grounded 2, Keeper, At Fate’s End, Planet of Lana 2, Clockwork Revolution, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Super Meat Boy 3D, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3&4, and the Blood of Dawnwalker all looked very cool to me. I’m interested in the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X, though I probably won’t be an early adopter.

Beast of Reincarnation by Game Freak (interesting!) looks like Monster Hunter mixed with Soulslike world design. Bloober Team’s Cronos: The New Dawn seems like Returnal mixed with Dead Space. Suda51’s next project, Romeo is a Dead Man, is a cool looking action title with an amazing name.

Acts of Blood and a couple of indie games called Dead as Disco & Spine are gonna fulfill my love for brawlers. Dontnod’s Aphelion looks like an awesome space exploration adventure. Atomic Heart 2 and its MMO counterpart, The Cube, look insane and unhinged and I love that!
