I’ve been enjoying the Mass Effect board game designed by @ithayla.bsky.social and @ericlang.bsky.social. Nice to play a campaign game that doesn’t take 20 sessions to complete. Also, you get to throw literal fistfuls of dice.

Winning in the current NHL is as much on the ice as it is avoiding the NHL's current golden child in anything that creates a decisions point. Be it playoffs, discipline or greivance.

I had a bit of a different experience. I was in a program for gifted students for 8 and 9, but then went to public highschool in the standard stream. The gifted program helped me by giving me no time to get bored or distracted, I had nearly the opposite experience in HS.

CANADA POST SHIPPING UPDATE Canada Post’s operations have shut down as of September 25 due to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) and their ongoing strike. After this season is over and if he wants to move on, he should waive it for a sign and trade. I just don't get how you do all this to build up the team to just sewer them right in the middle of the window by not allowing for the team to recoup some assets.

If he does move on, I don't see how the team adding him will do so with the same team they have. So by that measure they won't be an entire 97 better, they will be 97 minus the players they had to lose. He also better be right, moving on and not winning will do more damage to his legacy vs staying

I think it's going to work out but this past year wasn't great for TF, and he had minimal impact in the playoffs with no impact in the remainder of the regular season (despite paying for retainment). If he wasn't extended I figure the fan base would consider that a failure.
