Going back and watching older shows and it just reminds me how much I miss the 22 episode formate. It’s also nice to have holiday episodes thrown in there for fun.

I have to keep reminding myself not to worry about the page count on my current work on progress because I want to shoot this myself. Just have to get over the small detail of financing it.

Just watched Zero Day. I very good political thriller that I have to admit I watched pretty much the whole thing in one sitting.

Watched The Fall Guy again with my kids. Such a fun movie. It really gets better every time I watch it.

Having trouble working on a new screenplay. Decided to rewrite an old pilot that I think would be a good movie. Just need to keep getting words on the page.

Damn right. Working on something new I’m excited about. Let’s do this!

My awesome family surprised me with this for my birthday tonight. I love it.

Working on a new screenplay that is very contained with a small cast. Jumping from outline to first draft is one of my favorite parts of writing.

After watching “The Fall Guy” for a second time. I still don’t know why it wasn’t a huge hit? Great cast, fun movie.

How did I not know about Resident Alien? Halfway through season 2.

A feature screenplay of mind received an honorable mention this weekend.

Working in the East Bay this week. Had to see the A’s one more time in Oakland.

10 pages into something new and I’m pretty excited about it.

I know that I’m late to the party on this but, Lisa Frankenstein was an absolute joy to watch.

Getting an honorable mention is, well a great honor. My feature screenplay “Innocence in a Guilty Mind” received this today. It makes me very happy to know that my work was read and appreciated.

Took a break from festivals and contests but I’m happy and excited to announce that I have two feature screenplays and a short film pull an award in this festival.

A drum set is almost like a screenplay. It is never really complete, you just eventually stop adding things to it.

I make the pumpkin pies every year. I use fresh pumpkin and they are very good but, every few years I manage to completely mess them up. Going to try again in the morning.

I asked Veronica who is 12 what she wanted her pumpkin to look like this year. She brought this to me 10 minutes later. She over estimated my carving abilities. Had to go with plan B haha.

A few months ago, Meredith and I decided to visit Niagara Falls for our 15th anniversary. That quick trip turned into us visiting 4 states plus Canada. It has been a wonderful trip. We fly back tomorrow.

I’m going to be in Houston for one night this week. Anyone have any restaurant recommendations?
