Fair enough, but you should still attribute the original quote. I think it was Penn and Teller? I don't know, which is my point. You should have included it.

There's no excuse for erasing Gary Larson's original caption and inserting your own without attribution or clarification that that's what you've done.

Well, if the clear messaging of the article is any indication, my suffering from a guy's perspective can be dismissed, disregarded, and utterly ignored. Thanks for nothing, authors.

A strange and abstract short story I wrote in January. Enjoy and reshare.

People with ten or twenty or even the occasional 100 times your wealth aren't the problem. People with a 100,000 to a million times your wealth are the Fing problem.

Little known fact: due to the ever-changing curvature of the fabric of the universe, the true value of Pi used to be 3. Just 3. But then it read a bunch of cheap philosophy, got all "complicated", and started wearing black all the time. The rest is history.

That's impossible. This guy was born about a year or two after Nasferatu came out.......the first one I mean. So, ya know, definitely not a vampire. Nope.

Not true. He'll use GROK AI to read every single one, and then use statistical analyses of the results to decide who to fire. Unless someone with enough power stops him, he can definitely do this. The U.S. will be dead by summer at this rate, but not before he cleans out the treasury for himself.

Coupled with Russia's cable-chopping skills, this is a perfect storm for world domination.

As for Zuckerberg's undersea cable project, I suspect Trump and Musk are laughing at him.

This is why Musk is dismantling the federal government, in particular any blocks to hoovering up as much U.S. money as possible. He wants rapid, unchallenged SpaceX power deploy Starlink to establish global hegemony over the internet.

Furthermore, if cell phones the world over become dependent on Starlink, then only can countries by broadly attacked, but individuals, on the basis of their cell phone identity, can be targeted.

But if Russia can cut cables at Trump's behest, then localities at the nation level will quickly find themselves under Musk's thumb (as he is literally demonstrating this week by threatening to cut off Starlink to Ukraine to force Ukraine into a minerals deal with the U.S.).

If one were claim that Musk wants to control the internet with Starlink, it would be quickly countered that wireless internet in all its forms is rather paltry. Cellphone service depends on local physical backbones and major undersea fiberoptic cables connect the global internet.

(6) Musk is carefully deconstructing all blocks to funneling as much U.S. money as possible into SpaceX.
(7) Trump is getting very cozy with Putin.

(3) Starlink is on the cusp of coming to direct cell phones without the need for large antennas.
(4) Now Musk is threatening to cut off Starlink on a per-geographic-domain basis (Ukraine) to bring it to heel.
(5) SpaceX is critical to Starlink deployment.

Here are some dots I haven't seen connected too loudly:
(1) Russia has been practicing the art of cutting undersea internet cables, using Ukraine as a sandbox for such practice.
(2) Starlink has been demonstrated as an effective internet resource, curiously, also in Ukraine.

So the liberals are splitting the vote and losing the election in the process? Am I interpreting that correctly?

Didn't they swear they would end the war on day one? Where are all the republicans holding Trump's feet to the fire over that one? What a pathetic cult.

Elon Musk couldn't care less if Tesla's stock goes to zero. All his intrusions into US oversight are to expedite his projects with SpaceX. His eyes are on rockets and Mars, not dumpy cars driving around. He honestly doesn't care if we boycott Tesla into oblivion.

I presume Republicans are going to call Trump out on his promise to end the Gaza situation on day one at any moment now, right?

Sorry I didn't split the hair finely enough. I can't deny that you have narrowed in on a point of precision that I missed. I wonder if this diversion undermines my original observation.

It might be the 40,000 Americans who die in car accidents every year, but let's not get hung up on facts like that.

I saw Sebastian Thrun speak passionately at AAAI '03 about the 40,000 Americans who die in car accidents every year. This is definitely a problem ripe for a solution. Humans should not be driving vehicles. We just have to because we lack the technology to avoid it... So far.

Why is it always the same five or ten Democratic reps and senators in the headlines, leading the charge? What are the rest of them doing this whole time?!
