The most irritating thing about companies that do layoffs is not the positive, read-between-the-lines communication before the layoff. I got used to it and know how to read the sugar coating.
It’s telling you that you can apply again in another location after the layoff.

Shanghai bans fireworks. As I experienced my second lunar new year, I cannot say how much I love it. No noise, no dirt, no smoke, no anxious animals, no accidents. Just quietness, fresh air, birds singing.
