If you make something popular enough eventually you will die or sell it off and and a person in thick rimmed glasses whose main artistic vision is that he loves to have meetings will take it and sandblast it until it's nothing. I hate to see this happen here but maybe it's good that this happened. Maybe every franchise should collapse into a version of itself that makes shareholders nod and shake each others' hands. We should learn to speak in a language that rich people who don't dream can't comprehend.

i often think about this review

This style of light doesn't really appear in animation anymore. You know it when you see it -- it's bright, hot and almost dangerous.

1st panel: A dismal, awkwardly warmly lit hotel / convention center panel room like what you would see in the 90s or 2000s. A pink rabbit fursuiter holding a build-a-bear wolf, having waited in the corner, waves to an approaching blueberry wolf fursuiter. They both call out their usernames, "Blueberry Bella" and "KidfurKiki87" 2nd panel: Out of suit, the two are cuddled together on the couch in quilts and blankets. The build-a-bear wolf is resting against the build-a-bear bunny. Bella is holding Kiki, their fursuit heads on the dresser in the background. Behind the fursuit head, a "Days until Kiki's home: 0!" Lanyards of past conventions and their years are on a corkboard. --- Original art piece idea by @mIdrux on Twitter, but I and others were disappointed they drew it with mean-spirited intentions.. even calling the kidfur character a "diddyblud" (yes. verbatim) and getting wrapped up in "proship discourse." I thought the message was too human to let it be diluted + overshadowed by typical online whataboutisms and wanted to redo + reclaim it with more touches of the furry fandom, esp being a furry myself. It's love. For some, the love of your life is in the corner of a boring furcon panel room -- even if they don't have the same "interests," it's care that bridges the gap.
