Just finished reading "Paper Girl" by @bethmacy.bsky.social . She talks about how her home town of Urbana, Ohio changed during the last 20 years to become "Trump Country." Macy makes a lot of good points. One of her points dealt with the number of high school girls who have been sexually assaulted.

It made me think about men who do what Epstein and his best friends did to children but with a much lower profile.
Something is very broken in our society.
"Paper Girl" by Beth Macy is helpful in explaining where we are and how we got here. I highly recommend it.

I was ready to take on Ben Cline when the district was ruby-red—long before redistricting reared its head. I was fully prepared to fight for Virginians before it was politically convenient to do so, and I’m still ready to fight for the people of my community.

His character and conscience are absent. If he’s talking, he’s twisting the truth and cozying up to Trump.
