State & local police forces would defy any direct order to "stop" ICE, and they are trying to avoid exposing the impotence of their own authority.

They won’t be arrested. Trump commits treason if he tries it. SCOTUS will be forced to rule or join the MAGAS which will destroy the court and federal law.
