For this Sunday, I am still in awe of what the Chicago Bears accomplished last night. It did get me thinking about how easy parallels can be made in education. Coach Johnson is a leader, not a boss. That's the connection between the attached graphic in my photo bin and now.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and you may not realize that some of the people around you right now are silently in crisis. It’s ok to not be ok. Please know that there are people that care and others ready to listen when you need them.

Don’t flunk the future! The President has signed an order to close the Dept. of Education and has already withheld funding and cut staff – all counter to what the public wants. Urge Congress to support education with the @edfunding toolkit at cef.org/advocacy/

I hope that you choose an act of service that benefits your community in recognition of the efforts of this great American.
