You can adjust the text size a bit more, as well as the line height and paragraph spacing. The only thing that I’m missing personally is the ability to justify the text. That said, the fact that they added these new features so quickly after launch is HUGE! πŸ₯Ή

Kobo’s winter 2024 update on new features andβ€―fixes Our final update for 2024 includes a white Kobo Stylus 2, page-turn buttons to wake your Kobo, enhanced parental controls, a less dark Dark Modeβ€”and more.

While Kindle has had a rough couple of months, Kobo has been quietly improving so many things as the little competitor that could.

I’m especially excited about the new updates to the web reader on the website, as well as a couple of useful updates to the new Kobo Libra Colour software experience.

You’ve heard of Kindle Girlies, but… have you heard of Ko-Bros…? No? Well, I’m certainly not going to attempt to make fetch happen, but I’m VERY invested in getting the boys to read more fiction. So if Ko-Bros takes off and helps the cause, I’ll start that turn of phrase here and now πŸ˜‚

WHAT. A. BOOK. I loved it. It broke my heart and put it back together multiple times over. If you love dogs, this is a must read. πŸ₯Ή

I’ve stopped doing β€˜Top __ Books of ____’ posts because I hate ranking what I’ve read over the past year. That said, one book rose above everything else I picked up this year, so I am more than happy to share my favorite read of 2024:

β€˜Familiaris’ by David Wroblewski

Closing out 2024 with a backlist title from one of my favorite authors. I was completely CRUSHED by Hamnet, so I've been looking forward to settling in with this one for a while now. πŸ“š

This didn’t go unnoticed, btw. The product photos for the Libra and Clara Colour gave a distinct feel of what the e-ink display with color had to offer. And from a pure β€˜I appreciate good marketing graphic design’ standpoint, the product pics and renders your team puts out are πŸ”₯

I’ve seen a lot of β€œwhere can I buy cute sleeves for my e-reader” posts the past few days, so I’m going to shamelessly promote my wife’s exceptional seamstress skills and share our Etsy shop. πŸ‘€

β€˜Tis the perfect time to spotlight one of my FAVORITE authors since she was picked as Oprah’s latest book club selection. If you haven’t read Claire Keegan’s books, you can finish all three of these in one weekend. They’re short, but the impact they leave is massive. πŸ₯Ή

I was told that β€˜Time of the Child’ would be a great read for fans of Claire Keegan. As a fan of Claire Keegan, I wholeheartedly agree. I’m really enjoying getting to know the people of Faha. Niall Williams is now another instant-buy author for me πŸ₯Ή

Hard to disagree with the choice Barnes & Noble made for the #BookOfTheYear. β€˜James’ by Percival Everett was phenomenal, and definitely lives up to the hype.
