Did some burpees yesterday. Forgot they suck and are actually a bit hard at this age. I’ll start with 5-10 a day. 🤷‍♀️

They hit me up to run the kids program for Family Day at work and I was so nervous to do it and I had to work directly with the owners. But it went really well! The kids had a great time!

I just showed my dad what a burpee is and he was like OK I’ll just suffer then lol.

Well this sucks! But I have a spot up stairs I could do some. Thanks for the advice!

I used the counter to get up and down. Ugh.

I’m relatively fit, and I’ve still hit an age at almost 49 where I find it hard to get up on and off the floor sometimes.

Haha, yes, that has diminished substantially!

Completed my 90 days at work. Got a $1.50 an hour raise. And I'll take it. Still an adjustment making so little here, but I get that I am starting over completely.

No big deal, just saw a deer climb a bunch of stairs to get up onto someone’s patio.

The cool thing about watching movies with my dad most nights is that we actually watch the movie. I am hardly on my phone at all. And he isn't on his very much either.

Why are there only 6 episodes of Heated Rivalry?!? I want MORE.

Big day for me! 3 years sober!!

So excited! Bought myself a cross-country ski set!

My townhouse complex has four units. When it snows, whoever gets to the driveways first generally does all four. It's a really sweet little neighbourly thing, and I love it.

Went cross-country skiing today for the first time since I was a kid. It was not as easy as I remembered it. 😂 I might pick it back up again, though it was fun, and I'm not super into the winter running here, so we’ll see. Went with my dad and Buddy. He was allowed off-leash!

Bottom of the ladder at work, so guess who gets to work until 9 pm tonight? lol.

I think it’ll be ok! Honestly, not sure why I’m stressed. Maybe just because it’s a bigger place with more noises!

My parents are away tonight. I lived by myself in Vancouver for over 30 years, yet I’m nervous about being alone tonight. I have Roy, but he’s not much support. Fingers crossed everything is ok!

I have my first friend hangout tomorrow after work! We’re going for dinner. It’s someone I work with but still … a friend date! Yay!

We’ll have to do another FaceTime soon!

Feeling so homesick lately. Even though Vancouver isn't my home anymore. I do really like it here, but I am feeling lonely and like my Vancouver friends have all forgotten about me. Or most of them. But this is also a tough time of year, so I should probably not be so hard on myself.

My dad likes cheesy Christmas movies! We've been watching them together this year. Last night HE picked Our Little Secret with Lindsay Lohan. I had already seen it, but he liked it! Not enough space to list the others we've watched, but it's nice to watch them with him!

I am buying mine at a tribal cannabis store!

After seeing multiple people in Vancouver for help with my back, none of which worked, I tried the small-town chiropractor in Invermere because I had tweaked my neck and needed it adjusted. Anyway, he seems to be helping my back, which is funny after all the people I tried in Vancouver.

It better be soon! 😂
