Last month, I was thrilled to join the Tongass Democrats for their annual picnic as a guest speaker!
Since being elected Chair, Iโve made it one of my top priorities to visit every region so I can directly hear from folks on the ground about what youโd like to see from the party.
Is anybody else experiencing deja vu? After the Education Bill was passed by both the Alaska State House and State Senate, to no one's surprise, Dunleavy vetoed it this morning. This is the third year in a row Dunleavy has vetoed major education funding legislation in some form.

In Trumpโs America, the cost of every day goods (like eggs) is skyrocketing.
As you can see, the cost of living in Alaska is no joke โ especially in rural Alaska. These prices are unsustainable for our working families, and we canโt afford to ignore this. #StateOfTheEggconomy
Our economy is facing an unprecedented threat because of Trumpโs illegal federal funding freezes. The jobs of our civil servants and the state of our economy are at risk โ and we canโt afford to stand idly by as Trump and Musk are gutting our nation.
