A collage made from a broken mirror, with radiating cracks surrounding a layered composition of torn paper. The paper fragments resemble a stylized sunset landscape, featuring a deep pink sun partially obscured by jagged layers of bright magenta, soft peach, star-speckled navy, and rich violet. The reflective mirror fragments frame the vivid scene, adding texture and depth, evoking the fractured beauty of a summer sunset. Artwork by Allison Belolan.

Alt text: Abstract mixed-media painting of a lobaria lichen on a textured, off-white canvas. The lichen appears in muted earthy tones of brown and gray, with branching, leaf-like lobes spreading organically across the surface. The background is softly washed in pale grays and whites, giving the image a delicate, naturalistic feel. Four clear push pins anchor the canvas to a white wall.
Just finished this study for a larger lobaria lichen inspired artwork.

Above the cat, the words โBE NICEโ are stenciled in bold black capital letters. The paint appears slightly weathered and cracked, blending with the texture of the concrete surface.

A clustered arrangement of nine cyanotype prints on white paper by artist Allison Belolan, created using foraged natural materials collected in Downeast Maine. The prints feature a striking Prussian blue background with white silhouettes of various organic forms, including seaweed, leaves, pebbles, and shells. The central and largest print showcases a delicate, branching seaweed specimen. Surrounding it are smaller prints, each highlighting the unique shapes and textures of individual found objects. The composition celebrates the natural beauty of coastal environments through the lens of an alternative photographic process.
