No, but I think that should change if the federal government isn’t going to fulfill their duties to the states. Related: Oregon, Washington and California should make a West Coast pact to help each other out first.

If Trump is going to reduce or remove federal (FEMA) assistance from California, then California should change how much money their residents give to the federal government. I bet California could easily cover natural disasters if they weren’t propping up most of the rest of the country.
