...however, theory and practice differ greatly. Telstar's kits are ALL out of stock, a new batch will not arrive before mid-October. Moreover, they do not ship to Germany. Volendam and AZ ship to DE, but only allow credit card or iDEAL as payment methods. So... what to do... <sigh /> (2/2)

As my next vacation (likely) will be in May 2026 (Egmond aan Zee), the timing for getting football shirts of the region (AZ, Volendam, Telstar) may not be ideal as the clubs may be out of stock at that point. Unfortunately none, as I have always shied away from the costs (i. e., shipping costs to Germany) of the J.League meikans, while the JFL meikans are only available for purchase at stadium visits at the beginning of the season. In other words, the www is my meikan 😅

Too bad that they did not announce an application for a J3 license (the deadline for this was 30 June). So unless they are flying under the radar, and are improving their spectator numbers significantly (they need 4k+ per match to reach the 30k season threshold), promotion will be impossible.

And this is how we are going into the #JFL summer break. Reilac in the promotion spot, Verspah headed for the playoffs, ReinMeer in direct pursuit of these two. Grulla will need a hell of a run to catch up, Veertien, YSCC and Criacao should watch their step as the drop zone is coming nearer.

#JFL – I see only now that the all-time league attendance record for a single match has been broken last weekend, courtesy of #CriacaoShinjuku and their annual #Kokuritsu match. The 0–1 loss against Iwate #GrullaMorioka was witnessed by 16,755 spectators, 275 more than roughly a year ago.

Well, the 2k average per home match threshold unfortunately is mandatory. So in short, if they really plan to promote at some point, they would need to start doing their homework, and fast.
