There's no incentive to comply in good faith. Courts are too timid to enact any real consequences and SCOTUS will step in to save the day more often than not.

Like the thousands of other illegal things that they have done, no one will be held accountable. Trump immunity + blanket pardons means the illegal actions will continue with impunity. When there are zero consequences for breaking a law, the law is nothing more than a suggestion.

Like just about everything else in our democracy, hearings and reasoned opinions were just another norm that turned out to be easy to break with zero consequences to those breaking them.
