I’m reading that the big Oscar upset was awarding the woman playing the young sex worker not the one playing the “over the hill” actress. I admit I haven’t seen any of the nominated movies, but can we please for the love of god get some roles for women that are not about commodifying their bodies?

I just started it so it’s too soon for me to say, but I thoroughly enjoyed The Plot, even though I was not surprised by the twist. Are you reading Odyssey or listening? Fry narrates the audio book and it seems like it might be a good listen.

I didn’t love it as much as a lot of folks did. It was ok, just not Great. I put the second in the series, The Story of a New Name, on hold in Libby. Maybe I’ll like that one better.
