I recently gave a crash course in fluorescence and photochemistry that I usually give in French, but translated to English for students at the University of Toronto. There are lots of tangents, but it's jam packed with (what I think could be) useful information. Enjoy!

Thanks! The study's lead author, Antoine Juneau, made the visualization using Gaussian calculated orbitals and stitched together a relaxed scan into Blender. It turns out the parallel and perpendicular forms are energy minima and we could see them using resonance enhanced Raman spectroscopy.
