Both tent cities must move within the next few weeks and neither encampment has an invitation to move to a piece of unused property. As you know, SHARE/WHEEL has been a leader in providing self-managed shelter in Seattle for decades. In fact, it's part of their organizations' mission to help solve homelessness. SHARE/WHEEL is in need of continuing support from the city of Seattle, which has parcels of unused land which could host these two encampments. Your leadership in this situation could make a difference in the lives of the people in these much-needed encampments with shelter spots totaling 200. Please act quickly.
