Continuing my 'spooky' photo posts in honor of Halloween (my favorite holiday of my 1950-60s childhood holiday).

Just to make this more spooky, I kept finding it in different places in the woods over the next 4 years (after 2 years, the lower jaw disappeared).

Posting photos today in honor of #Halloween, my favorite childhood holiday (1950s-1960s). People in my area went all out: elaborate costumes & decorations, loads of regular candy but also popcorn balls, hot cider, homemade candy. I'd come back home to dump my bag at least once.

30 October 1935 | A Jewish boy, Georges Halpern, was born in Vienna. After his mother, Séraphine, was hospitalised and had to separate from her son, Georges was taken to the Izieu children's home.

Deported to #Auschwitz with other children on 13 April 1944, and murdered in a gas chamber.
