Trump literally said last night that China will be paying for the 104% tariffs he is imposing. He actually doesn't understand the basic fact that tariffs are a tax on the American population.

This is not hyperbole! This will rival the 2008 great recession and could put us, and the world, into a deep world wide depression.

Right now it will take billions of dollars and over 3-5 years to rebuild manufacturing in this country. If we get locked out of World markets then we may never be able to do it because the rest of the world won't sell us what we need & won't take USD

In September if congress doesn't pass a continuing budget resolution (which they almost always threaten not to pass) and the US goes into default in making US debt payments then we can get locked out of World markets.
