In retrospect 2013-2015 was a real peak of good vibes. The financial crisis was receding and everything was getting better. Twitch Plays Pokemon was a beautiful co-operative voyage. Undertale was game of the year. The absurdism was fun and positive rather than escapist, and the future was bright.
