actually okay one more weird thing but I did this one to myself: I remapped the caps lock button to a left-handed enter key, and it’s actually so much more useful that now I reach for it on other keyboards and get really disappointed

I use a split keyboard in Dvorak layout with the F buttons all scrambled and other various macros & key remappings, and also a trackball mouse - my desktop setup is almost impossible for most people to use besides myself. I guess weird typo reactions are a small price to pay.

so because I’m a user of the Dvorak keyboard layout from way back (at least 2012) I have noticed this weird thing where, because different letters are adjacent, my common typos get more confused reactions than QWERTY folks’ typos
