The heat is on: heat vulnerability and MS in a warming world
We sat down with researchers Dr Nuno Koch Esteves and Professor Davide Filingeri from the University of Southampton to learn about their work on heat vulnerability.
As our world warms, understanding heat sensitivity in MS matters more than everππ‘οΈ
A privilege to discuss, alongside Prof. Filingeri, our latest research with @mssocietyuk.bsky.social

My new dark red climate stripe for 2024 shows itβs the hottest year yet
These βwarming stripesβ, adopted around the world as a symbol of climate awareness, action and ambition, now include another dark red stripe for 2024.
The data is in.
2024 was the warmest year on record, and probably in the whole of human history β about 1.6Β°C warmer than the pre-industrial period.
More than 1 billion individual thermometer measurements have been condensed into a single vital number.
