Now this pass is off to my awesome agent, @staceykondla.bsky.social (sorry in advance, Stacey!) and I’m going to jump into the next project while we figure out where to go from here. But first, I nap.

That said, these edits are far from perfect. I have a lot of work to do still but I’m really, really excited that writing is actually back and my brain hasn’t forgotten how to do this after all.

Well, I guess oligarchs and fascists taking over the country are one way to get back into writing and actually get shit done. These edits took me an embarrassingly long time because apparently burnout works this way and even I couldn’t brute willpower myself through that one.

And if you’re in Utah and need help with your name and gender marker, please let me know and I’ll help you get that done.

I feel like I’m ten years old and stuck in my Nazi nightmares again. My therapist would be proud of me for doing some intense EMDR work, except i have a pretty sustained track record of being unable to come back out of EMDR and spoilers, we’re right there, right now.
So, anyway, how you all doing?

I’m not okay today. I don’t think any trans person or any immigrant is. It feels like everything I grew up in Germany with the assurance of “never again” is crumbling around me. But I’ve refuse to crumble. Because we’re still here and we’ll always be here and we’ll watch out for each other.

I was thinking the exact same thing. While I didn’t really use it before, now it feels very “if you are using this, better be grateful to, and therefore support, Trump” and that feels really gross.
