Dogs team up with AI to sniff out cancer Scientists paired Labrador retrievers with an AI model in a new screening test for breast, lung, colorectal or prostate cancer.

A screening method that paired dogs with #AI was able to detect the odor of cancer carried on patients’ breaths. The canine-AI duo was both highly accurate and highly sensitive, successfully detecting four types of cancer in 94% of cases.
