Make a zipper bag, make a difference. Join me in person for a bag-a-palooza! Saturday, March 22 between 2 pm and 6 pm and Thursday, April 24 between 10 am and 2 pm. This is not a class, but a working session to support Flow Forward NJ and their mission of providing access to menstrual products to those in need. Bring fat quarters! We'll have some other supplies available and a basic pattern, but if you have a pattern that you prefer, please bring everything you need. Want to help, but you don't sew? Stop in anyway! We've partnered with Flow Forward NJ to supply bags for their packing event in May. Our goal is 500, and we've received handmade bags from five states so far, plus lots that were dropped off in person.

Calling all sewists! Join the zipper bag drive to support Flow Forward NJ

Flow Forward NJ volunteers stuff bags to donate to shelters, food pantries, and community groups to get period products into the hands of those who need them.

Our goal is to donate 500 zipper bags by May 1, 2025. Bags can be any fabric, but should be around 6" x 9" and must include a zipper or button closure.
