I’ve said it before but reading all the medieval history books I’ve been reading lately has been so comforting. Makes you realize that there have always been mad and incompetent kings and they almost always die in ignominy and everyone piles shit on them for centuries after they’re gone.

I mean yes I see it. But no. Just no.

LGBTQ+ folks deserve to be treated with dignity, equality, and respect.

Refusing to do so doesn’t diminish them.

The small number of red faced blubbering one-fingered dudes driving by in their loud and smoky vehicles only highlighted the amount of support in contrast.

Went to my little Ohio town’s protest today in the rain with my partner, my queer son, and my disabled daughter. It was so heartening! People of all ages holding homemade signs. So many cars honking in support. Lots of pickups too.

I have found that Costco truly saves me a lot of money. Every time I go I end up with a bunch of stuff in my cart that I’m sure I can’t live with out. Then I wander around long enough questioning each item and putting them back until I just abandon my cart.

My dad was a used car salesman for a while. He struggled at it because he a actually cared about the people he met and wanted to help them find what was best for them.
