UNC-CH AAUP opposes classroom recording for any reason without the instructor’s consent. We were shocked to learn on 2/9 that the Interim Provost had drafted a new policy allowing the recording of classes to go into effect on 2/16.

We have been out in Maryland neighborhoods & markets even in the pen-freezing bitter cold of the last few weeks to show @senbillferg.bsky.social & @mddems.bsky.social how much our communities support us!

My amazing colleagues from across the state have been all around Baltimore in the last few months (and we ain't stopping) because we're the last public sector workers in Maryland without the right to a union. Our neighbors are shocked and appalled. But @senbillferg.bsky.social can make things right
