This afternoons rehearsal was our final opportunity to top and tail the music for tonightβs concert at Birkdale Methodist Church, Liverpool Road, Southport at 7.30pm. The choir is sounding really great in this wonderful repertoire. Tickets on the door.

An exciting lies ahead as our June concert (Mendelssohn's Elijah) begins a year long celebration as part of the choirs 60th Anniversary year.
A full house for our traditional Nine Lessons and Carols. Excellent singing from our choir,sadly a couple of folk missing due to various bugs. Next big choral service is the First Mass of Christmas at 6.30pm on 24th December at Bury Parish Church, Lancashire

Many thanks to the BBC for inviting members of my choir at Bury Parish Church back to sing with the Daily Service Singers and BBC Philharmonic. Had a great afternoon singing Christmas Carols with fellow choirs. Looking forward to hearing the concert on BBC Radio 4 in the run up to Christmas Day!
