First 'competitive' swim event in 40 years was pretty crazy.
A bit cool and very hectic, but given that I was aiming for sub 30 minutes for the 1.9k and ended the swim in 29:55, I'm pretty happy.
I had a blast! Now, I'm really looking forward to the Lake Chaparral 2k Open Water Swim in two weeks.

It's going to be pretty chilly out there: air temp will be about 9Β°C and the water will be 17-18Β°C.
The biggest challenge is going to be navigating the course. With 1100 participants, things are likely to get pretty crowded out there.
I'm both dreading and looking forward to it at the same time!
