I know the US education system sucks but I can't give it all the blame. Some blame needs to fall on Wisconsin.

Everything about Wisconsin feels made up. I used to think it was a small country near Switzerland. I learned how to spell it from spell check while writing this. I recently saw a map of the us and thought "wait what's that state between Minnesota and Michigan?"

The name Cheyenne is neat, because it's like Chartreuse and Cyan, and those are neat colors

My proposed new flag for Washington State.

In keeping with our state's tradition of updating regions' namesakes (see King County), I propose this new flag, along with making Denzel Washington the state's namesake.

Denzel Washington, like MLK, has no ties with the state aside from brief visits.

My first thought is for being the head of an incredibly harmful religion, he seemed to generally make positive changes. Whoever replaces him may not have the same agenda.

So like, what was the vibe on the pope? Did we like him?

I have coworkers around the country, some in pretty conservative areas. It's those areas in particular that I consistently get responses to the pronouns in my work profile with love and appreciation. They tell me about themselves, or their spouse or friend. Specifically a lot of nonbinary people!

Anyway my son called me "Giant", and given my relationship to gender I did wonder if that was better than "dad." I then decided it wasn't.

Picking up marbles and setting them in a precarious spot was good practice, in part because just picking up a bunch of marbles is a hassle on its own. Still tricky to do with the Force, but generally easier if you don't want to bend down and pick them all up.
