At what point does “proper England” football run its course? It feels like we’re running our luck and could get seriously stung by Spain*

22.07.2025 04:37 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I’ll eat my words — absolutely incredible of Germany to hang on from the 15th minute, and thru extra time to win on penalties. Incredible mentality.
19.07.2025 22:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Well that’s one way to throw a game away
19.07.2025 19:19 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 1How the fuck did we just get through that ?!
17.07.2025 21:51 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Thoroughly deserved result for Italy!
16.07.2025 20:52 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Curious what you think — I got the sense the players weren’t entirely playing for him though, their heads went down when they conceded the second and the subs seemed questionable.
14.07.2025 06:26 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Poor choices in their own third too considering how they conceded that penalty! Wow they made it hard for themselves!
10.07.2025 20:58 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Perhaps Wiegman saw something in Hampton that we all hadn’t after all!

10.07.2025 11:38 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0My eyes might have deceived me from my view in the stadium but I thought there was a glorious display of total football on show today, some excellent switches of positions which complimented (and compensated) for gaps that were so easily exposed against France

07.07.2025 20:38 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I like my steamdeck, but I adore my switch 2.
The only thing going for steam deck is the choice of games (which is a huge one don’t get me wrong).
But there’s no comparison when it comes to both the hardware and software; the steamdeck feels cheap and it’s incredibly buggy.
It’s so charming, and the colour of the river running through it is amazing!
07.07.2025 15:13 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0We have a huge problem in the middle, and at full back.
Wiegman fell into the classic England manager trap of making choices based on loyalty rather than form.
Carter at left back makes me very nervous #engfra
05.07.2025 19:28 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Did that qualify as “shithousing” a win for Norway? Or were Switzerland makers of their own downfall?
02.07.2025 21:13 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I appreciate that, the price of a court in London is reason enough tbh!
21.05.2025 08:17 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0This was a wonderful read, as someone who is starting to feel age catch up with them and take its toll, it really resonated and I empathise entirely. Congrats on a long career no doubt full of memories. Might I recommend Padel, it’s a little less toll on the knees.
