Why don’t we put solar panels over highways?

Imagine the 400 series highways through Toronto were covered in solar panels? Less snow to move in the winter. They’ll absorb heat in the summer and provide clean energy.

The War Remnants Museum, which should be mandatory for any westerners visiting Vietnam has an entire floor dedicated to the victim of Agent Orange.

I watched the @netflix.com doc on the Vietnam War.

I was about 3 episodes in before I realized that they weren’t going to talk about Agent Orange at all which is wiiiiild

I ran Aislinn Clancy’s campaign in 2023 where they had 18 candidates. We were happy to have Electoral Reform in the conversation!

The only time I heard about Electoral Reform this cycle was in reference to @longestballot.bsky.social.

Plus - registering 91 candidates is a feat! That takes people power!

They had 91 candidates and didn’t elect a spoof candidate and unseated the Leader of the Opposition who doesn’t support electoral reform (whose party ironically uses PR)

They are somewhere between a blackberry and a raspberry. They’re normally ripe late July and early August in southern Ontario. Get the darkest ones!

They’re pretty common trees - there’s a ton in my neighborhood!

I still have a bit of an accent from growing up so close to the border. So people generally think I’m American but drop a lick of French and it gets cleared up right away

Whenever I’m travelling internationally, I like to casually speak French any chance I get so other people know I’m Canadian and not American.
