Rewatching Merlin for the millionth time while lying in bed sick with the flu is not how I thought I’d be spending the first couple of days of 2026, but here we are.

I am autistic which causes me to need more rest than neurotypical people do in order to function. That doesn’t make me lazy. It means that I’m taking care of myself and my needs which just happen to be different than yours.

The wildest thing about being Level 1 autistic isn’t even the symptoms or traits…it’s the gaslighting from my family who HAVE witnessed the meltdowns, the shut downs, the “quirks”…and yet they can’t accept that the reason is in fact autism. I’m so burntout…and the gaslighting is getting to me.

I think I just need to disappear for a while and heal.

After watching Ep 7 of Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, I have to say that the Ming cook Tang Bai Long reminds me of Uncle Iroh. His ethics surpass his loyalty to the leaders of his nation.

I think tonight is a Narnia night. I wanna be in my cozy pajamas with my hot beverage beside me cuddled in bed watching Narnia.

Started watching a new K-Drama on Netflix called Bon Appetit, Your Majesty. 3 episodes in and I’m hooked. The only thing I wish is that we could taste the food she’s preparing because it looks so good!

Anyone else noticing how they are trying to make Instagram more like TikTok with reposts and a friends page as well as Snapchat with the map…Meta has no original ideas.

Also, you can turn off your location for Instagram in your phone settings if you’re wary of it.

PDA stands for Pathological demand avoidance, for those unaware with the term. It is connected to autism & ADHD.

Fighting against my PDA has always been hard because for a majority of my life I didn’t know why I was like that. But now that I know what it is, it’s easier to find coping strategies to combat my way through to getting demands done. Still a real struggle though.

The only thing saving my mental health right now as an American citizen is binging comfort nostalgic shows/movies and listening to K-Pop, specifically Blackpink (including their solo albums) and Stray Kids. And K-Pop Demon Hunters ofc.

Soooo I watched K-Pop Demon Hunters and I’m obsessed~ 11/10 highly recommend if you haven’t watched it! Ofc I don’t know what it’s like not being into K-Pop but I’m sure non-stans of K-Pop can enjoy it too

I love my own country enough to call out the Tyrant in Chief for the absolute disgusting disgrace that he is which is my first amendment right.

Zelensky is a hero to his people and a true leader. Russia started this war and the fact that we have a President siding with Russia is disgraceful. Trump is a bully and an embarrassment. JD Vance sold us out to the highest bidder (Musk) and his actions were also an absolute embarrassment.

In light of the US/Ukraine meeting today, I just want to say that I’m embarrassed and disgusted.
