India is such as vast rich culture. My heritage is Gujarat from Western India so I loved learning about these South Indian traditions and holiday. Beautiful book overflowing with pride and love for one’s culture. Kid approachable as who hasn’t dealt with name challenges. #picturebookatbreakfast

I often get asked, “How many books have you written?” and my answer is usually “a lot.” @jbradley.bsky.social and @darshanakhiani.bsky.social inspired me to put together a list of the books I’ve written that have made it to the submission stage. 8 sold—less than half. Pub dates are in parentheses.

Inspired by @jbradley.bsky.social, here is my list of picture books that made it to submission stage. The year in parentheses is the year it actively went on submission. The ones without a year were only subbed to a couple of places. The ones with a strikethrough were shelved after being subbed.
