I had an R36s but the screen was washed out and those things are a real lottery.
The R36h Pro Max is pretty tempting though! It even has Wifi!
anyone want to come over? we can stand across from each other and do this

Meanwhile, I've got a few $50 Anbernics that have never given me any trouble at all.
used to cover up the holes on a whiffle ball to make a SUPER whiffleball!
03.02.2026 18:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The cheaper Anbernics and even the AliExpress knockoffs are great for modding though. Lots of custom buttons on Etsy.
03.02.2026 18:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sadly, the newer Android based ones like the Retroid Pocket, and Ayn Thor aren't very repairable at all. They use the same glued screens and cases that phones use.
Nobody wants to talk about this because they just want to collect them, not *use* them.
