every time I reread ch1 I lovingly picture ww eventually realizing vash’s reaction to his jacket spikes joke was because of COURSE it was bees and going “oh you motherfucker” out loud at a random point in time. vash grinning because he doesn’t know exactly which joke just landed but he knows one did

especially like… the confidence of loving something so loudly you’ll own the chance to let people laugh at you a little for it, is kinda cute. vash loves being delightful and tricking people into cracking a smile over a silly goof and what a sweet way to be!

i love that he’s free to be such a little imp in hr, but I especially love that wolfwood rewards him so much about it, both with the intended exasperation but also it explicitly being so much of what wolfwood likes about him. he’s fun :)

my last attempt didn’t get much traction so i deleted it but i need help pretty urgently. my food situation is unstable and today i was carted to the ER by family after blacking out— now i owe $410 i don’t have simply for the visit
