Never imagined our law enforcement would look like this.

Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.

The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.

People Behaving Badly is NOT the Norm (Yet) Don't underestimate the potential for your everyday behaviour to shape what seems normal and good in society.

Right now, we have to decide, overtly and unequivocally, what kind of behaviour we want to treat as normal and acceptable. There are some loud voices and extreme actors who would tempt us to believe that violence and lawlessness is the norm. I reject that.

Horrific to hear that Charlie Kirk was shot today in Utah. Political violence must be always and totally rejected. Praying for him and all who may have been injured or impacted.

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. It’s not fair, but that’s the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.

No one would be confused about what is happening here if they saw it in another country.
