The yellow offending sections need to be deleted, because they don't conform to the object > property: definition structure. I deleted lines 122-151, the comma from 121, and lines 510-514, and the theme imported correctly.

Yep, it's related to changes made in January, with an explanation in the link I gave above.

I identified it by downloading the recent schema locally, adding the schema reference at the top of the file (image top), then two areas were highlighted (image middle + bottom) ...

We strengthened the check of wildcarded properties (* > *) in the January release [1], but nothing out of the ordinary for February's release! Feel free to pass me a theme file and I can verify what might be the issue with it.
