Similarly, Blacks are PIs on 17% of the terminated grants, although they make only 4% of the total pool. Hispanic PIs and those with disabilities were twice as likely to lose a grant."

Chilling to see this list of terminated NIH grants. Research on Alzheimer's, HIV, rare diseases, vaccines -- gone. Cancer centers closed, training grants & fellowships terminated. Young scientists stranded. Patients waiting for treatments that'll never come. Just sad.

It’s incredibly hard to see a national treasure like the NIH descend into the atrocious servitude of stripping out an image of one of their most successful Institute Directors in an effort to please the thinnest skinned President of all time.
