Thanks so much for sharing Sarah! You're bang on - so many centres are dedicated to building long term community relationships, driven by two-way conversations. They really do such brilliant work.

Science Centres and their outreach teams are often the first scientists children encounter and they aim to build long term community relationships too. However, they do not receive goverment financial support in the same way as conventional museums and other cultural centres. This needs to change.
